Nasal Tip Rhinoplasty
Tip of the nose is aesthetically the most conspicuous part of the nose. Visual problems in the tip of the nose not only affect the facial expression, but also prevent taking a comfortable and fine breath. For instance, a drooping nasal tip makes the person seem angrier and older than he/she is. It also prevents breathing comfortably.
Nasal tip rhinoplasty is a nose surgery that is performed to correct visual imperfections only in the tip of the nose.
With the nasal tip rhinoplasty, wide nose tip can be narrowed; or droopy, long, and wide nose tips can be reshaped. Droopy nasal tip can be lifted.
After the nasal tip rhinoplasty, there is no swelling (edema) or bruising because it is an operation that only interferes with the cartilages of the nose tip, not the other bone parts of the nose.
The entire procedure usually takes about one hour under local or general anesthesia. In this process, there is no need for any plaster or tampon. After the surgery, there is also no need for staying in the hospital. Thus, patient can freely go back into his/her normal social life or job.
